Gregg D. Caruso: Rejecting Retributivism: Free Will, Punishment, and Criminal Justice


Thursday 19 September there will be two lectures related to the topic Neurolaw. Gregg D. Caruso from USA will give the talk Rejecting Retributivism: Free Will, Punishment, and Criminal Justice.

Neurolaw is an emerging field of interdisciplinary study that explores the effects of discoveries in neuroscience on legal rules and standards.

Lecturer: Gregg D. Caruso is Professor of Philosophy at SUNY Corning, USA. He is also Honorary Professor of Philosophy at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, and Visiting Researcher at the University of Aberdeen School of Law in Scotland.
