Welcome to the second Workshop on Translation as Research: Translating Ancient Texts.
The workshop is on 5-6 February at the Faculty of Humanities.

The workshop is funded by Riksbankens jubileumsfond and is a collaboration between classical philologists in Sweden and Denmark. It is the second in a series of four (2019-2021) on scientific aspects of translation with a particular focus on ancient texts.

The project is lead jointly by David Bloch, Saxoinstituttet, University of Copenhagen and Christina Thomsen Thörnqvist, Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science, GU.

Staff and students are welcome. It is also open to interested public.
