Grants and Scholarships

There are a large number of scholarships and grants available that can be applied for by students at University of Gothenburg:




The deadline for applying to the Master's Programme in Language Technology is

  • 15 January for international students, especially those in need of a resident permit, and
  • 15 April for students from EU/EEA countries and others not in need of a resident permit.

No fees for EU/EAA citizens.

If you have citizenship in a European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) country, or Switzerland, you are not required to pay application or tuition fees.
