About Johan Gross

Research

My main areas of interest are sociolinguistics, phonetics, sociophonetics and multilingualism.

My current research focuses on how multilingual youth in Stockholm and Gothenburg take part in sound changes in the vowel system, with emphasis on the vowels /ä/ and /ö/.
