Docent lecture: How to think about moral thought and talk

John Eriksson will give his docent lecture on Thursday September 14. The talk, How to think about moral thought and talk, is in English and open for everybody. Welcome.

How should we understand moral thought and talk? What is it, for example, to think that stealing is wrong and what do moral terms, for example, right and wrong, mean? These are central questions in metaethics. The aim of this talk is to give a brief introduction to some central considerations that guide metaethical theorizing and explain why I favor a certain view on these matters.

Refreshments will be served after the lecture.
